Prostitute on a Bicycle

Coming home from work yesterday evening I was accompanied by... you guessed it... a prostitute on a bicycle! We have those you know. I guess it's a bit like those Ice Cream sellers from years ago who rode around on tricycles (although they didn't shout "stop me and fuck!") sorry for the sweary bit kids!

I went to th Soundhaus last night to see a few bands. Was very tired *yawns* but went anyhow. A couple of local bands (Fimbria & Medium21) supported Radio4. Local bands were pretty darn good and the whole night was a huge Telecaster-fest!!!!! (Surely you know that I adore Teles????). Radio4 had never really inspired me on record but having seen them live I reckon they should deffo sue their producer! They were pretty intense and LOUD... well it was a small venue and I was right by the monitors.... so..... my ears! my ears! lol The gig was recorded for broadcast on the Steve Lamacq show on BBC Radio6 so you can listen here on Saturday... if you like. (btw methinks Radio4 have a liking for Gang Of Four!)

My new boss called me on my mobile today at last. On first impressions she sounds like a breath of fresh air at last! She certainly made the right noises... just have to hope that she wasn't just making the right noises, capiche?

Got the old guitar out today and finished off a song (see Home Studio) which is a laid back affair for a change. Due to my poorly alimentary canal I stayed home all day and spent 5 hours finishing the song. Other than that it's been sleep and TV... so check out my TV Guide and join me in a mug of Horlicks on my futon ;o)

OMG!

I lost my mobile phone today! Had my meeting with Nola in Coventry this morning and it was such a sunny day!!! So I got back to Northampton, got some leccy cards, got the new edition of Mojo then went to the Fish for a bevvy (hey I am on holiday, ok?). Got talking to thses computer boffin guys and had a pint more than I intended... so left the pub, got some food, then realised... to my horror... my work mobile had gone! Aaaarrrggghhh!!!!!! Panic! Dialed 192 on my other mobile and got through to the Fish on the second attempt. Thank the good lord that they had the phone behind the bar!!!! So I got it back, just had to break my poor back lugging my big bag around for another mile!!!!

Ho Hum. So am home now and already have slept for 30mins... think I am sleeping way too much this week! Maybe it's just relaxing as am on holiday????

Saturday brother Christopher and his wife are visiting which will be nice I guess, just means that tomorrow I have to clean the flat... AGAIN!!!!!!

Anyone who knows Carla should be aware that she has a gorgeous new domain to show off to nice folk. So if you is a nice folk, mabe to visit?

Back home for 20 hours....

Yup. I am back in Northampton for 20 hours then off to Coventry tonight to stay at the mothership cuz I have a meeting tomorrow and the trains are on strike! *glares*. I'll be able to pop into the Nursery for a bevvy on the way tho, so that's kinda ok.

Weekend was nice and relaxing. Slept loads and wandered in the sunshine, cooked and drank good red wine :o) so that was nice. Top culinary tip... bananas with chilli sauce, mmmmmm nice! ;op Thanks Jit

Brother Chris is visiting on Saturday with Tina which will be good... just HAVE to clean the flat now! mumblegrumblebumble....

Ouch! My Piles!!!!!!

Only kidding.... For those who don't know yet, I didn't get the job with THA in London. Not too dissappointed cuz it was a unique job, only one will EVER exists in the entire country, so I was just chuffed to be shortlisted. Pity that it cost me more ��'s to travel down there for interview which was, btw, 2.5hours long!!!!!! *rolls eyes*

The mother visited this weekend.. only took two years! hahaha! She came over by train on Friday afternoon and stayed overnight. Went to Abington Park Saturday morning, really nice, sunny day. Sat in sun having milkshakes and ice-cream ;o) then said hi to the budgies and other birds in the aviary. Nice day :o))

Northampton Saints performed rather embarrassingly in the Powergen cup yesterday... least said the better methinks.

Note to my various "bosses" could you perrrrlllleeeaaaassssseeeee pay my fuckin expenses? I know �250 is maybe small beer to you guys but it's a huge dent in MY overdraft! capiche?
