Where did that hour go?

Bugger! If this weekend wasn't short enough... guess who forgot to put his clocks forward last night???? Damn! I have loads to do today and an hour less available to do it in.

Emma & Matt's wedding went ok yesterday. No lawful impediment. No embarrassing drunkenness (I stayed pretty straight). Nice Balti in evening with commemorative "Matthew & Emma Union Ale" (actually Frog Island Natterjack with special labels) which was a nice touch.

Thanks to gorgeous George for signing the map and sending the funnies <3 hehee .... sorry, was just thinking how nice it would be to go down and visit your area of outstanding natural beauty ;op *winks*

Snogs also go to Sladja, Jit, Jan, Donna, AndyC, brother Chris, Cliff P (maybe the men won't get a snog!), Ali and everyone else who has given me support, advice and encouragement recently - top chums!

Anyone know why Haloscan comments keep disappearing at weekends? Bloody annoying!

Eleanor Claire

Can you perleeeaaaasssssseeeeee hurry up and get yourself born! I know it's nice and warm and cosy in that there womb of yours but you gotta come out soon babe!

I've been a little worried about Abby & Steve cuz the baby should have been born last week and I hadn't heard anything. (Bit of a worrier is moi). Anyhow I spoke to Abs last night and all is well, as far as they know - it's just that Eleanor Claire has spent nine months settling in and making her home all nice and cosy... I mean she realises things are getting a little overcrowded in there.... but lets face it, it's warm and cosy, requires little maintenance or cleaning, food/heating are included AND it's rent-free! So I guess you can't blame her really?

It'll be a loooooonnnngggggg day at work today cuz we have the Quality Auditors in this afternoon/evening so I'll have to stay at work till after 7pm, "ho-hum", said Pooh. Guess I better think about getting ready to hit the office soon so I can get some work done before they arrive early afternoon....

peace & snogs

I'm too shy to express my sexual needs except over the phone to people I don't know.

Sunday, Bloody Sunday...

Nah! I'm not a U2 fan, no sir. Sunday's been ok I guess, had a lie in due to lack of sleep and stuff, researched a little for the job application, went over the Vic for an hour and, errrr here I am!

Friday a friend came over for an overnight stay. We had a really nice time... apart from being let down by a taxi firm and having to push a loaded wheelchair (careful it don't go off in your hand! lol) up Derngate hill. Went to the Malt shovel for a few bevvies then hit the Miraj (fave Indian restaurant) for lovely food. They really look after you there and play cool jazz and stuff. Food is excellent, prices good, service brill, hot flannels, orange slices, complimentary choccies... the works! So that was nice. Never get enough time when someone only travels over for and overnight stay... ho hum said pooh.

Have to go down to London again tomorow for some media training then go into the office on Tue. Dreading the huge piles of post, e-mail and other work awaiting moi. Friday is my big day giving a talk on stage with our CEO at a the Modernising Psychiatry conference (again in London) so my legs way wobble a lil later this week.

apologies for not being on line to those who tried to chat wi' me

snogs to all

Poorly-sick

Andy is unwell - should have stayed in bed all week but wanted to go to Uni and London so lasted till today on pseudoephidrine hydrochloride, mmmmm, hmmmmm those lovely glaxo smithcline folk and their legal drugs hehehehe

I tried to blog earlier but blogger was down and it got lost and stuff so this is a last attempt...

Where does Esther Rantzen get off, coming over all caring and altruistic then mis-using the word schizophrenia in an offensive, innapropriate and wholly innaccurate way? *glares furiously* just wait till I find her e-mail address cuz I feel some feedback coming on...

the war.... blah blah... I'll leave that for others to blog about

Yay for Abby and Steve! Their baby is due next week so fingers crossed that all will go well :o)

If you fancy visiting somewhere nice for a refreshing break you coul try Kate (I could spend a whole day here without getting bored), Mallory, Carla(she has a cool sense of humour like Kate and deserves to be adored) or, errrrr... Rotterdam?*!?@~*??!!!!

And finally.... to my good friends Sladja, Tijana, Diana, Kathy, Jit & Valentina... you are all very important to me and I am wishing for peace and happiness in your lives,

Apparently I don't exist

I heard from my boss today that I should not expect him to answer my calls or be given information. That's an unreasonable expectation it seems, apart from the fact that my colleagues get information which I do not.

Oh and being shouted at over the phone last thing on a Friday evening is acceptable behaviour from one's boss.

I am SO naive!

I should have known these things and accepted my low priority long ago, how stoopid am I eh?

btw apologies for any posts reflecting my stress levels of recent weeks. I now know my place and will crawl back into my hole.
