This link wouldn't work in my last blog so here's another try...John Lennon and George Harrison's Official Website from the Afterlife. Also listen to these songs (?) that these freaks reckon have been recieved from john lennon! Be afraid.... be VERY afraid! :oO

I was down the Vic on Friday evening having a couple (cough) of pints when one of the guys came in with a cd someone had burned for him. They cut short the Nico track that was playing at put these guys on: Hayseed Dixie World Service. It was hilarious but kind've cool too. I still love AC/DC (Bonn Scot era) and these guys do top versions. btw, the Vic plays excellent music (most of the time), I mean what other local pub would play Nico's "Little Sister", Motorhead, Julie London and all points between? :o)))

The conference in Croydon was top! Everyone managed to get up and leave home by 6am and all got there on time. The speakers at the conference were also top (especially Melinda Sweeting, possibly the most gorgeous Consultant Psychiatrist in the world ;op hehehe). Was funny when Marina, who'd done a night shift and had no sleep fell over sideways with a thud in the middle of Mick Smith's (my bosses boss) presentation, lol. I had to discreetly nudge up next to her to prop her up hahahahaha! Only other prob was the kid at Northampton selling me train tickets with the wrong date on, grrrrr managed to blag our way through tho.

I love Jules' current layout and just stumbled on Katie whose colour scheme is classic and is kinda the reverse of some of my publicity materials, Krin has a nifty new look too.

Graham Norton showed this scary site on his show this week, I really hope these people are being ironic or whatever, but I am pretty sure they are just plain delusional! scary shit!!!!!

Sladja had to re-post to the guest map last night when she realised she had stuck her pin in the wrong country hehehe. Hi Sladja! <3 .

Snogs to all ;o)

Well, off to coventry in a minute, staying at the mothership then off to Atherstone tomorrow for team meeting, then Croydon on Friday. Sheesh! Croydon has taken some organising! It'll be fine tho.

Got to the volunteer manager forum which was slightly more useful than anticipated (not planned, chaired too well tho, I mean the agenda was a trifle, erm, ambitious to say the least and I do kinda wonder if the VB is so efficient/hard done by/unable to have a presence at next meeting how they managed to have at least three contracted, senior staff members there today.... call me cynical, go ahead, I don't mind! lol.

Anyhow, I'll not be around much in the next few days as travelling around as noted above and getting the uni assignment done, the critique of the Best Value Revue Report, Risk Assessment, article for Ali etc etc etc ad infinitum, lol ;o)

Was great to chat to Sladja last night, if only briefly, haven't chatted since last week!!! She always makes me smile ;o) Hi Sladja!!!!

Blog at weekend prob,

snogs to all,

Not a bad week so far, pretty productive but still not hit the uni thing running.

Panic this morning cuz I left my diary in the office so couldn't remember if I was due at MK 9.30 or 2pm, aaaagghhh! Luckily I phoned Gail who gets to the building early and she checked, so actually got there on time for 9.30, pretty good eh? It was my annual appraisal today and it was actually kinda enjoyable. Partly cuz I'm pretty chilled about work right now and partly cuz the boss has evolved into a fun guy recently, I mean he's relaxed and friendly, he even asked about Joe Strummer last week!

Need to go see my doctor soon as I noticed something this morning which may or may not be a cause for concern, but don't want to blog too explicitly about it right now. It's probably nothing (that's what guys always say, right?).

Jit is having troubles with her friends and family right now which is stressing her out a bit, but she is a good friend for them to have. Her sister has been targeted by rascists which makes me really angry and apparently the authorities haven't been very sympathetic which sucks. Hope it all works out.

Won't be around much next few days, travelling round the country a bit till the weekend. Not for pleasure unfortunately!

And so ends another weekend, bleaugh! Finally got stir crazy and went out for an hour, as usual that's when the phone rings, ho hum.

Haven't got half the study done I intended, but not for want of trying, just not in the right frame of mind. Have done reading and research tho.

Didn't go out to the Thai restaurant with Jan etc last night, needed an early night with a good book (about strategic planning, yawn) but also the table was booked for, like, 9.30 which is kinda late for eating out in my book.

It's been soooo quiet tonight, no-one on line at all except Nat who had to dash off to eat. I guess time differences don't help. It's sad but I miss folk when they aren't online.

Oh yeah, I have another double booking! The Raveonettes are playing the Soundhaus the same night as the re-scheduled Teenage Fanclub gig at the Roadmender... flabby-arsed bummer!!!!

btw, to the rich brats living opposite in their flat in Craven street, yes that's craven street, northampton, uk.... turn the fucking music down or I'm gonna get nasty!!!!!!!

What the heck-a-doodle is going on with GW & Blair? I mean we know they are just looking for an excuse to bomb the crap out of Iraq but this takes the biscuit! So they have found some empty, that's EMPTY, shell cases and apparently that's a real threat to US and UK. Sheesh! Like Sadam is going to get on a plane, fly to London and whop Tony Blair on the head with a big metal tube. Woah! Scary! So it's obviously gonna be a fair fight between US &UK with smart missiles and such and mr Hussein with his empty metal tubes. Hmmmmmm.....

Excuse me while I go build myself a panic room out of the packaging this pc came in.

Had one of my "early" days today. Up at 5am, did some stuff and hit the orifice at 7-ish. I get those days occasionally and I suppose it's one of the good things about managing a service like mine that the purely administrative stuff can be done any old time. So guess what? I'm up to date on my call stats! Yay! (Andy realises this is interminably boring and may account for the low traffic and non-existent comments, lol)

Caught up with Gail today and had a good natter. Heard all about her ginger sister with the compensatory talent.... Yes, she can "sex eggs"! How cool is that? I would soooo love that on my cv, hehehe.

I noticed that the Matthew Kelly jokes were already in evidence today. Standing outside the orifice having a smoke I overheard the schoolkids on the way to lessons saying, "Tonight, I'm going to be ****censored****", hehehe. Now PLEASE don't get all self righteous about decency in humour, cuz you know it's totally hypocritical.

On a similar point I was rather incensed by Pete Townsend protesting that he wasn't "one of those mentally ill people who find paedophilic pornography attractive". Does he realise how offensive that language is? Where exactly is the correlation between mental illness and paedophilia? Anyone who makes that connection has the kind of under-developed, tabloid brain which sees no contradiction between screaming for the blood of Stephen Lawrence's killers and spouting "Hop Off You Frogs" headlines. Sheesh! Whilst we are on the subject, I was talking with a certain person who purports to work with carers of people with mental illness but who had such limited knowlefge of both subjects that A: they did not acknowledge that paedophilia was a personality trait as homosexuality or lesbianism is or the distinction between this and those who actively abuse. B: That a fair proportion of "carers" are not caught in the benefit trap, but are in work or retired. I REALLY find it bizarre that folk can be so shallow and judgmental and still boast social work qualifications. Sheesh x2!

Mumble, grumble....

I am opinionated and I say things people disagree with... but time will out. My opinions will be broadcast by popular media in time, it's just that I have the balls and integrity to try to be objective even if it bucks the "Diana-esque" popular opinion.

Feel free to comment, particularly if you happen to have actually thought about what YOU think rather than what the sheep in your street think.

Oh! I have a new layout-ette! - looks smug and self satisfied ;o) - finally sussed out frames and got a logo thing going. I'm well impressed anyhow. Still have a time and a half of it with Blogger/Haloscan tho, I noticed Cindy lost her comments today also, but that may have been intentional judging by what's going on for her.

Had a natter to Jit tonight who has a water filter dilemma, lol.

Other than that I just gotta get my head down over next week or so to get work stuff, assignment and my new songs done. (no particular order). Knowing me I will tend to go for web maintenance and songs before the other stuff, hehehe

Yay! Cool weekend, kind've. Got the housework done and took xmas decorations down at office.
Got guitar out and did loads of work on some new tracks on Cakewalk GT. Have 3 tracks "in production" plus a cover of "Albatross". I always find having a break for a few months lets you come back with fresh ideas and energy. Gives me a big hit to create! Just have to find time amongst work, Uni, learning Serbo Croat, housework, music mags, chatting on-line, having a life, etc etc etc ad infinitum.....
Great that Cindy and Carla both have their sites up and running again, I know it's sad but I miss them when they aren't around :o(

Hate sunday evenings! Have to start thinking about work & stuff, bummer. Oh well, it pays the rent as they say (and literally too!)

Yup, it's moi! Blogging from the library in Kendal, Lake District, UK! I'm on my holidays after Abby & Steve's wedding on Friday. Unfortunately I can't get access to my blog account from here so having to resort to this!

Journey up was long... long.... but ok really. Got here 4 hours late on thursday, 6pm. My guest house is the coolest place, like a 5* hotel. I really thought they wouldn't let me in, lol! The coolest feature is that there is an "honesty" fridge in the hall, so you can take a bottle of scotch and a bag of nuts if you want to and they trust you to pay at the end of your stay. cool!

Wedding was great, loads of single people who didn't know anyone, like moi, but that was great because I met loads of new people like sue & nick. Nick is Nick Jackson of the Nick Jackson Band who performed at church and reception.

I just got 5minute warning so gotta dash!!!!!

Weather has been incredible! Took loads of photos on the digicam, but deleted them by mistake yesterday bummer!!!!!!!!!!

Took loads more yesterday and will post them when I get back tomorrow night.

take care, andy

Above is my original comment blog from Kendal Library.

What I didn't have time to blog about was... er.... just the excellence of the entire week! Sun, snow, breathtaking views, walking lonely as a cloud, a "brief encounter" (ok tongue wrestlin if you really have to know ;op )

Took loads more photos and even some vid diaries on my Logitec 510 some of which I'll post tonight.

Had a great journey home today, got unbelievable connections and did the journey in 3.25 hours!!!!

Got pressies from Sladja today too!!!!!! Lovely calendar of Novi Sad and a photo album full of photos! Sladja Rocks!!!

Ah well, nice to catch up on cin, nat & carla but a big flabby-arsed bummer that I have to go to work tomorrow :o(((

see y'all xx
