HIgh-de-ho! I got another present today! Molly and Nat added me to the Portal Of Bliss! How cool is that? It's a great honour for me (cries like Halle Berry) especially as the portal is not accepting new members now. Blissfulness.net ...imonmyfeetimonthefloorimgoodtogo...

Christmas has been quiet because of my nasty cold, but it's been good to chat with Sladja and Kathy and other online chums. I'm getting a little pissed off that I haven't got any of the things done that I wanted to this holiday, like starting my assignment, writing & recording some new songs, redesigning the work website, entering six months of call stats (was gonna do some while doing the christmas night & boxing night shifts) and there are too many etc's to mention here. Ho hum....

Will be going into the office about lunchtime today to check things are ok (still not well tho). I need to make sure things are in order before I go to the Lake District for Abby & Steve's wedding on 03/01/03 :o)
It'll be nice to have a few days away.

I got some great cd's/DVDs from Amazon - the Transformer documentary (great seeing Lou, Herbie Flowers and Mick Ronson) which is great fun and also the "Night With Lou Reed" DVD, a straight rip from the videotape version but a must have for all that! Also have the Nazz anthology, a double cd of their entire recordings with really great packaging and all for £10.50!!!!!

I'm off to listen to the Archers Omni then get showered and off to office

So this is christmas eh? I've been ill for a few days and so the 25th has passed me by rather. Enjoyed the carol concert on saturday, although I guess the illness was on it's way even then!

Surprisingly I have only REALLY upset one person this year, lol! So I guess that's not so bad really.

A couple of festive disasters have ocurred.... like I had to buy a new phone cuz I spilled festive fluids in it! Damn! Spookily Shirley phoned last night for a chat and she spilled Ginger Wine in hers while we talked! hahahahaha must be a bad influenece. Then last night I was happily anticipating a good chat with Kathy & Sladja when my space-bar stopped working! I ended up stripping the whole darn keyboard down and cleaning all the gunk out. I won't even begin to describe the stuff I found in there! No money unfortunately :o( anyhow, when I reassembled it it was doing crazy things to the pc so I thought I'd have to get another keyboard too. Luckily a bit of tinkering and a hard boot (lol) seemed to fix it. Can anyone tell me where to get waterproof keyboard covers from these days? Or is it a cunning plan by pc retailers to make you buy more product? Wouldn't surprise me!

Anyhoo, had a good chat with Kathy and Sladja, and opened my presents online with them which was kinda fun, lol. I also found out that the "Mexican on a bicycle" joke is known around the world! hahahahaha

Have been playing old vinyl from my youth.... nostalgia brought on by losing Joe Strummer I guess. It was good to rediscover some of that stuff and it sounds pretty good through my current stereo.

Talking of music, I noticed I had moved from a Kazaa "low user" to a Guru in, like a week! lol

Enjoy your fat bellies and hangovers! x

this could be a blog and a half as haven't put digit to keyboard for days.

ok, the party in Wolves was fun. I enjoyed myself anyway... maybe too much it could be argued. Unfortunately there was a little trouble, not involving moi. I reckon they woul do better going out for a meal or something next year. I mean it's a recipe for disaster having a table of free booze... if something's gonna kick off it's kinda likely to with all that unmeasured booze flowing. Ho hum...

There will be some photos on here in a couple of days, after they have passed the censor that is, lol

Can't say much more about the night really, suffice to say that I am taking my lovely people out for a curry on Thurs which will be a little more dignified, lol!

Been at work for two days before going back to hols once more. Today was a catalogue of cock ups. First I 4got about a management comittee mtg so had it double booked with my funders at county council. Then I got a replacement credit card in the post which I thought I would deal with asap (efficient eh?) so I signed back of new card immediately and cut up the old one. Yay! Won't have to worry about that now *pats himself on back* then the card got eaten by an ATM cuz it's not valid till Jan 2003! AAAARRRRGGGHHHH!!!!! How will I get beer tokens for xmas? help!
Got that sorted eventually, I mean I sweet talked the local bank into giving me some cash and have a replacement card on the way.
Then I get to my funder's meeting only to find my contact almost dead with some nasty infection, but that was ok cuz the meeting was fun. We did wonder where my boss was tho... it WAS in his diary I could've sworn! Trnspired that the minutes had 10am on them instead of 2pm so my boss got confusticated and missed out.
Tonight feeling a little bleugh, you know when you can't decide whether you feel good about yourself or totally the opposite?
Anyhow, had a lovely surprise last night. I got a card from George who is possibly THE most gorgeous woman on god's green earth! Really didn't expect to hear from her as last time we saw/spoke/touched was about a year ago, before she moved away.
Guess that's another thing about christmas, it gets you all emotional about stuff. Old flames, possible new ones etc etc etc with knobs on.

Happy holidays y'all!

hehehe how's you all? I did, like, so much on line shopping today it's unreal!
£100 of chocolates! Abslutely no imagination, but hey! Chocolate!!!!!!

I HATE salesmen!!! Was sweet talked into a really innappropriate financial arrangement by some a-hole at HFC bank... that's HFC Bank (sue me) hehehe. I went in to rearrange stuff with them yesterday and gave the poor guy such a hard time (like I care), I mean he said he could "save me money" by consolidating my credit, so I asked him to do the sums, no I INSISTED he do the sums... and he proved himself wrong heheheheh how funny is that? So I'm gonna get a cash advance and pay the f-ing thing off, like ASAP. LOSERS! One thing I REALLY hate is being taken for a dickhead. I may BE a dickhead at timnes, but I DO have a brain and one thing I have learned from all this is to believe in myself and not be cajoled into doing something stoopid. I KNOW BEST! lol. Apologis to anyone out there who works in sales, but if you f***k with me, you WILL come off worst, believe me. Once biteen... and I'll bad mouth your company to the world lol.
Still on my holidays but went into office for a while ostensibly to have a managerial xmas lunch with Gail, but unfortunately it was hijacked by the world and his dog, quite literally. I mean what is it about these things? The mere mention of a pub lunch and radars within a 20 mile radius pick up the signals and "mysteriously" turn up to join the fun.
Ah well. Had a nice meeting down my local with Tracy "swoon" who I found out is an aging punk like myself too! I guess I should have asked her out or something... will SOMEBODY give me a training course on this? please!
Chased a shoplifter this afternoon up the "welly" road, why does this happen to me eh? Bougt a suit in a charity shop for the two, count 'em, two weddings I am going to in the next 4 months. I have no pride... or control over my weight neither.
Should get my new web-cam tomorrow which wil be col (little xmas pressy to myself) so no more blurry uglyness but full, sharp, blobby ugliness already.
I am going to the annual Wolverhampton helpline piss-up on friday 13th (yes, friday 13th). Will be fun I'm sure, and like, everyone wants to dance with me apparently. (guess that's so I can't drink much, lol).
Anyhoo, if anyone actually reads this waffle, have a cool time celebrating whatever you celebrate this time of year, and be nice!
You nver know, if you say sometghing nice to me I may send you some chocolate ;o)
Condiments of the seasoning to one and all!

Hi di ho playmates!

I have discovered conclusive proof that I am the only guy capable of organising the proverbial piss-up in a brewery! lol. Wasa supposed to be meting up with colleagues in Coventry over weekend for a few bevvies but as I left it to them to organise... it didn't happen. Ho hum

Went out to Nursery Tavern anyhow and had a good old natter with old chums, them lo and behold some old school "chums" rolled up... free drinks! lol
think I embarrassed them with anecdotes which they hadn';t told their wives yet! teehee. Obviously marriages are based on openness and trust these days! not!!! lol
Did some jobs at the mothership nonetheless before travelling home Sunday. Can you believe this? The station cafe didn't open ntil gone 9.30am, despite a sign on the door saying 8.30 and a load of frozen, pissed off passengers outside! So you go and mention the fact to the station staff, and despite not the hint of malice from myself you are met with a surly young female saying, nothing to do with us! Grrr..... I didn't say it was anything to do with her!!!! Why so confrontational eh? All I suggsted was that they have a word with the manager of the franchise. Obviuously I'm wrong and should stand out in the cold and darn well like it, I mean, who am I to expect people to open at the advertised time?

Come the revolution.... etc etc etc

Love to Alan Sundry xx

Hello chaps. I'm on leave for almost the rest of the year! yeehaw!
Been having a work prob with my e-mail which is a real bummer, just discovered that most of my sent e-mails haven't been delivered!!!!! Grrrrrrrrrr!!!!!! Think it's to do with antivirus & firewalls. Mucho painful as it negates a lot of work I thought I had done over he past few weeks, ho hum. So it looks like my voluntary shift tonight will be taken up reinstalling and reconfiguring.
Going to see mother dearest tomorrow to do some odd jobs, guess it'll be the last time I see her till next year. It'll give me the opportunity to see some colleagues in Coventry and have a few bevvies, so that'll be cool I guess.
I finally contacted HFC Bank (why I ever got involved with them I will never know, won't be so naive next time), god knows what "new deal" they may offer me this time, yawn, I just wanna clear that debt baby!
Can I cancel christmas? Is that ok with everyone? I just cannot get my arse in gear at all this year. It just seems to be a lot of pain with no gain. I know it must be great if you have a family and can get together like the provrbial "chocolate box christmas", but how many of us will actually achieve that?
I hope anyone who reads this DOES have a cool yule.

Love to all and condiments of the seasoning to Juan and Al

Woohoo, I finally got around to a blog, not that anyone cares or anything =o(

Had a cracking night on Saturday at an Indian -Hooray for the Miraj!- with Jan and some chums. Bit of a spur of the moment thingf, but then the best nights often are. I did a deal with the guy at the Miraj to host our xmas "do" with a generous discount cuz i'm a "charidy" lol. No he's a nice guy with a cool restaurant but it's not on a main street. Anyhow, he also is doing a charity "anniversary do" in January and wanted me to find a jazz band for him... which i managed to do in, like 24 hours! Cool eh? so maybe a few qud and some mutiual publicity in the new year +o)))))) Sometimes fate kinda plays a hand dontcha think?
Anyhow, Saturday was cool as we hit the Picturedrome after the meal and their was a Jazz/Blues band playing, so mucho sweaty dancing.
It wa another short weekend tho, as I hit the office on Saturday to try and catch up with paperwork =o( so chilled on Sunday night studying comparative religions ?!*?#?!?? was relaxing! ok? Do I criticise your pastimes eh? Do I? ;o)
My good chum is deffo getting married on 3rd Jan in the Lake district, so i hope to go, it's just getting accommodation that's a pain. Abs is actually just about my oldest friend, I mean, er, you know what I mean! So I really wanna be there for her.
Apparently there is a religious festival approaching which requires me to spends loads of cash on crap to give to folk I don't see very often. Is this compulsory? Bah! Humbug!
